Buddy Fruits Mango Spread Cake Filling

Cake is never a bad idea, but a cake filled with Buddy Fruits Organic Mango Spread is an even better idea! Squeeze the taste of fresh mango from pouch to pan for a fruit forward filling that’s better than any spread you’ve had before!

• Your favorite vanilla cake mix
• 1/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
• 1/3+1 tablespoons Buddy Fruits Organic Mango Fruit Spread
• 1/3 cup finely shredded fresh carrot
• Your favorite vanilla frosting if you would like to

1. For the filling, mix coconut, Buddy Fruits Organic Mango Fruit Spread, and carrot in a bowl and set aside.
2. Prepare batter of vanilla cake mix as directed.
3. Pour batter into desired pan (cake pan or cupcake tin) and then pour in most of the filling (reserve some for swirling with the frosting if you desire).
4. Swirl the filling into the batter and then bake according to the cake mix instructions.
5. Let cool, then frost if you choose. You may mix leftover filling into the frosting as well.
