Mango and Peppers Salsa

RECIPE DESCRIPTION:

Replace part of your mangoes with Buddy Fruits Organic Mango Fruit Spread, because we only use real fruit and no artificial sweeteners in our pouches!

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ green pepper
  • ½ red pepper
  • ½ orange pepper
  • ½ yellow pepper
  • ½ red onion (medium size)
  • 1 mango
  • ½ bunch of cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño (adjust to taste) 
  • 1 can (~15 oz) of black beans drained
  • 1 can (~15 oz) of whole corn kernels
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ¼ cup of Buddy Fruits Organic Fruit Spreads Mango
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Chop all the peppers and the onion to ¼”- ½” in size. Add and mix them in a bowl. 
  2. Cut mangos into small squares also about ¼” – ½” in size. Add to bowl. 
  3. Add the chopped cilantro and the diced jalapeno. Feel free to adjust the quantities to taste.
  4. Add the drained cans of beans and corn. These are optional but a great addition.
  5. Add fresh squeezed lime juice. Avoid adding the seeds.
  6. Add the Mango Buddy Fruits Organic Fruit Spreads.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Mix well, refrigerate, or serve immediately.
